Friday Night Live

Friday Night Live at the Plaza, Cloverdale’s free summer concert series, Friday nights from June 1 through August 31, 2018. Friday Night Live & Street Fair  offers a variety of family-friendly activities every Friday evening throughout the summer.

 

Fishing

The Russian River is a year-round fishery. Late Fall begins the Steelhead run, and continues through April. Next comes the "Mighty" Shad, April through June. Summertime is prime time for Smallmouth Bass, Bluegill, and Carp. The Russian River is a "barbless hook" river all year.

River Park

Cloverdale River Park offers access to a very scenic stretch along the upper Russian River. A pleasant multi-use trail connects McCray Road to First Street, and offers points of entry for kayaks, canoers and inner-tubes in the summertime, as well as fishing and wildlife viewing.

Lake Sonoma

Lake Sonoma covers over 17,000 acres of lake and surrounding recreation area offer a wide variety of activities, including boating, kayaking, camping, hunting and much more.

Asti Tour de Vine

The 10th annual Asti Tour de Vine, a 25k, 50k, 100k, 100m (century) bicycle tour, Saturday, Oct. 13 is presented by the Rotary Club of Cloverdale. The tour takes place in Northern Sonoma County’s breathtaking wine country. Ride on uncrowded routes through charming rural valleys, past autumn-hued vineyards, alongside the meandering Russian River, and on pathways overlooking Lake Sonoma.

Alexander Valley Film Society

Lauded as the hottest emerging regional film festival in the North Bay, nearly 2,000 people will come for the unique mix of independent cinema with a Hollywood flare from Oct. 18-21, 2018. The Festival will feature domestic and international narrative features, documentaries, short films, special programs, winners from the Student Film Competition, community events and screenings, a thrilling Opening Night Celebration, and more!

Cloverdale Car & Motorcycle Show

The 27th annual Cloverdale Car & Motorcycle Show, produced by the Cloverdale Chamber of Commerce, brings vintage, classic and many one-of-a-kind vehicles to downtown Cloverdale from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The car show  is preceded the evening before by a downtown “Cruise” which starts at 7 p.m. The next day, over 250 vehicles will line the streets of downtown Cloverdale.
