Chris King, an ordained Zen monk with over 40 years of meditation experience, teaches this class. Chris is also a long-time practitioner of the martial art of Aikido.

PRIDE - Celebrating LGBT Life in Sonoma County Sunday June 23 Programs at 3:00 pm, 5:00 pm, 7:00 pm This is an important first for CPAC and for the community—our inaugural PRIDE event and everyone is invited! As a part of the ongoing series, “Telling the Story,” “PRIDE” will celebrate diversity as we join others around the country in national Pride Month. At 3:00 pm we listen to “Tales of Life”--personal narratives from a youth advocate for Sonoma County’s Positive Images, from a gay parent and from a gay elder both advocates from Sonoma County’s North Bay LGBT Families. At 5:00 pm LGBT business, professional, community, faith and creative leaders come together to share “Walks of Life”--their challenges, opportunities, their past and future. And as a fitting finale for this first-ever PRIDE event, we rock the house and our community with great music in “Celebration of Life.” Suggested donation $10.
