Mete Tasin, Tenor Jennifer Muhawi, Soprano Lara Garner, Piano Generously sponsored by Amy Neel/The Neel Foundation Mete Tasin, an operatic tenor with an impressive multi-cultural repertoire, has appeared in classical performances both in the US and in Europe. He has studied with the legendary soprano Montserrat Caballe who praised his voice as “one like no other.” Tasin is joined by classically-trained soprano Jennifer Muhawi, founder of the innovative opera/pop-opera group City Opera SF, and by Lara Garner, a skilled musical accompanist and multi-instrumentalist who includes chamber and Celtic music in her broad repertoire. This trio of accomplished performers will delight with famous arias and a superb selection of ethnic ballads, musical theater, and operetta from around the world.
