Agnes of God, by John Pielmeier ~ A long-running hit on Broadway before being made into a movie in 1985, this powerful and thought-provoking drama was based on a purportedly true story. Summoned to a convent, Dr. Martha Livingstone, a court-appointed psychiatrist, is charged with assessing the sanity of a novice accused of murdering her newborn. Miriam Ruth, the Mother Superior, determinedly keeps young Agnes from the doctor, arousing Livingstone's suspicions further. Directed by Amy Lovato. Show times: Fridays and Saturdays April 21, 22, 28 & 29 @ 7:30 PM and Sundays April 23 & 30 @ 2:00 PM. Note: Mature audiences.
