Winner of the Theater Bay Area Award for Outstanding Production of a Solo Play in 2019, this deeply moving and surprisingly funny work outlines Copeland’s own struggles with depression and suicidal thoughts. With this brave and original production Copeland is breaking down barriers for those who may be struggling with depression themselves. Laced with surprisingly funny moments that serve as a buffer against the grim reality of his intentions, Copeland hopes this very personal and ultimately redemptive story will reach people who struggle with depression—often called the last stigmatized disease—as well as their families and loved ones. Early bird tickets $30 until December 24, 2019. Thereafter $35. Available online at cloverdaleperformingarts.com; in person at Mail Center, Etc., at 207 N. Cloverdale Blvd., 707-894-3222; or at the door if available.
